Here's a collection of some of my favorite Wildlife & Nature photography
GREAT GRAY OWL
Just one of the many species of birds that migrate through the nortern reaches of Michigan.
Lower Tehquamenon Falls (right)
One of the best known spots to stop while in Michigans beautiful upper peninsula, this series of waterfalls on the Tehquamenon River are a year round wonder. The upper Tehquamenon Fall is the highest waterfall in the state of Michigan. You can enjoy the lower falls, pictured here, from the many fantastic viewing areas or make an up close and personal inspection of them from a rented boat.
An adult Swan wades in the water while five younger birds stretch and groom themselves to get ready for another summer day on Crooked Lake.
This pair of swans spent this foggy fall morning enjoying a leisurly swim and stretch session along the Crooked Lake shoreline. Second place prize winner at the 2001 McCune Art Center Annual Photography Exhibition.
BLUEBIRD ON A BOX
This male Bluebird sits on a nesting box to dry his feathers on a rare dreary and rainy summer day.
Awakened from his daytime rest this small owl shifts position to avoid the gazes of bird watchers.
